FAQ's

What to expect at Freedom Church
What time should I arrive to find parking and get a seat in the sanctuary?
We suggest you arrive 15-30 minutes before the beginning of the service you would like to attend. This will enable you to find parking, check your kids in and grab a coffee or breakfast from Hebrews! Please stop by Guest Services near the front of the foyer to let a greeter know that this is your first time visiting. An usher will be happy to assist you with finding a seat.

Can seats be reserved in the sanctuary?
Seating is open! We encourage you to arrive early to find the perfect spot for you and your family.
Can I bring my child into the sanctuary?
At Freedom Church, we offer classes for ages newborn through 6th grade. Every classroom is equipped for the age it occupies and has teaching that is age-appropriate. We strongly encourage children to attend classes on Sundays and Wednesdays where they will benefit most from the Bible teachings at their grade level. Our Kidz Connect class does join us for worship before going back to class and the youth group sits together on the first few rows, house right.

Of course, your children are always welcome to sit with you and if you need to step out for any reason, we do have a cry room available.
Can I meet with the pastor?
Pastor Paul generally meets new visitors in the foyer after each service. If you are looking for biblical guidance, someone from our pastoral staff would be happy to meet with you – contact the church office at (316) 775-6100, Monday-Thursday 9 am - 3 pm, to make an appointment.
Can someone give us a tour?
One of our volunteers at Guest Services would be more than happy to show you around! Please do not enter any classrooms.  If you have children, we are happy to show you the classrooms, but we do not allow anyone into the classrooms that has not completed an application and background check.
Where do I go to check my children in for their classes?
Our Check-in system gives our staff and our members many capabilities. Upon your first visit, just look for the "Freedom Kidz Check-In" station in the gym and we will help you get registered! When your children get checked into their appropriate classrooms, security labels and name tags will be printed.

Please make sure to include your phone number during the check-in process as this is how we will get ahold of you, should a situation arise. These security name tags also provide an extra layer of security at pick-up time.

This system also allows us to know the specific needs of your family, so we can take care of your kids best. Be sure to include any special needs or allergies when checking in.

How is the Church supported?
Freedom Church is funded through the tithes and offerings of the congregation. Other than teaching biblical principles regarding giving, no pressure is exerted to raise funds or obtain pledges. We believe that “where God guides, God provides,” and look to Him to stir the hearts of people to give.
